Two dubbing theatres and a mixing room, halted after the chosen premises fell through.
The project covers two dubbing theatres and a 5.1 mixing room, for documentary and short fiction, at rates suited to French-Algerian productions that currently work in Belgium for lack of access.
Commitments are suspended: the owner of the chosen premises did not renew the lease after the agreement in principle, and the project has no second site with the same acoustic isolation. Two locations are being viewed.
None of the work done is lost — the acoustic study, the fit-out plan and the equipment quotations all transfer. What has stopped is the call for funds, not the project.
